The Concourse Shopping Center in Skelmersdale is looking to become a premier entertainment hub after unveiling ambitious plans for an indoor venue.
WonderWorld is reserved on the second floor of the site, above the main shopping level.
It would include jungle-themed adventure golf, ten pin bowling, large ninja-style inflatable, soft toddler play area, virtual reality room, entertainment with dodgems, darts electronics, a cocktail bar, an American restaurant, an artisan-style street food court, and a coffee bar.
The plans – which will create between 50 and 60 jobs – were submitted as Ultra Star Cinema completes the final layout and decoration of its luxury two-screen cinema at the Concourse.
David Halliwell, Director of Moorgate Developments, said: “This is a highly anticipated development by many, which is why we’ve taken our research to the next level, looking at the most popular entertainment hubs in as far as Australia and America.
“We have really invested the time in looking at what a family needs and wants to have a great day. WonderWorld will also be hosting parties and corporate days and will cater for all age groups.”
