Digital Entertainment Group International bows for first “Mega Movie Week” promotion in Germany – Media Play News

On May 13, Digital Entertainment Group International, DEG’s global home entertainment branch, helped launch the very first “Mega Movie Week” in Germany in partnership with the Federal Association of Audiovisual Media (Der Bundesverband für Audiovisuelle Medien eV / BVV) and the Society for the Promotion of Audiovisual Media (Die Gesellschaft zur Förderung audiovisueller Medien mbH / FAM).

Until May, 16 distributors are offering a selection of current films at reduced prices on 11 digital platforms.

With “Mega Movie Week” Germany, DEGI is evolving the model and creativity of the popular “Mega Movie Week UK” and Nordic campaigns of recent years. The campaign aims to increase awareness, engagement and transactions by educating new consumers about the benefits of the electronic sales format and by encouraging trials and participation in the category.

“Mega Movie Week” is available to German consumers on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Chile, Maxdome Store, Microsoft, PlayStation, Rakuten TV, Sky Store, Videobuster, Videociety and Videoload.
