Season 2 of Stories of Muni-Muni podcast in january

THE Stories of Muni-Muni The podcast, co-produced by the Filipinas Heritage Library (FHL) and Podcast Network Asia, will launch its second season on January 3. In this new season, the heavyweights of the film industry will be talking about the Official Soundtracks (OST) of the Pinoy films. The season kicks off with a discussion of the classic dance-themed film, Hataw Na! (1995). The song “Hataw Na! “was a 1990s collaboration between Gary Valenciano and Jungee Marcelo. It lent its title to the film written and directed by award-winning writer and director Jose Javier Reyes, which celebrated the expression of youth through dance moves “It’s a perfect fit for the second season because [Hataw Na!] has three intersecting art forms: cinema, dance and music, ”said Sofia Santiago, host of Stories of Muni-Muni and Associate Director and Curator of FHL for Partnerships, Programs and Exhibitions. Glaiza De Castro, Antoinette Jadaone, Armi Millare and JP Habac, among others, are also part of the season’s lineup. Muni-Muni Stories Season 2 will be available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and other podcast streaming platforms from January 3. MORE Star Cinema movies can be watched for free on the studio’s YouTube channel. In addition to the list of films available, there are two novel-dramas by Olivia Lamasan: Milan, with Claudine Barretto and Piolo Pascual, and The mistress, with Bea Alonzo, John Lloyd Cruz, Hilda Koronel and Ronaldo Valdez. Launch of GMA7 Mano Po spin-off tv show

FROM the big screen to prime-time television, the great success Mano Po The film franchise continues as GMA Network and Regal Entertainment present the TV series, Mano Po Legacy: the family fortune. Set to premiere on January 3, the series chronicles the aftermath of the unexpected death of a business mogul and leader of a major Sino-Filipino clan. The drama series stars an ensemble directed by Boots Anson-Roa as Consuelo Chan, the matriarch of the Chan family who is very protective of the family’s reputation; Sunshine Cruz as Christine Chan, the intelligent and driven daughter of Consuelo and the person behind the success of the business empire; Barbie Forteza as Steffy Dy, Christine Chan’s intelligent assistant; and Maricel Laxa as Valerie Lim, the manipulative and scheming common-law partner of Consuelo’s only son. Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune premieres January 3 at 9:35 p.m. thereafter The world between us on GMA Telebabad.

Clara Bénin releases new single

AFTER making a name for herself in the Southeast Asian region with the release of “Suara Hati”, a reinterpretation of her 2015 acoustic ballad in Indonesian Bahasa, Filipino singer-songwriter Clara Benin is releasing a brand new single “Blink”. The song features Gabba Santiago on drums and electronic musician The Ringmaster in charge of production. The song is available on all digital music platforms through OFFMUTE.

Netflix Season 2 Bridgerton starts in march

NETFLIX announced that the second season of the popular show from Shondaland and creator Chris Van Dusen Bridgerton will be released on March 25. The second season follows Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), the oldest of the Bridgerton siblings, as he searches for a suitable wife. Driven by her duty to defend the surname, her search for a newbie who meets her impossible standards seems miserable until Kate (Simone Ashley) and younger sister Edwina (Charithra Chandran) Sharma arrive from India. When Anthony begins to woo Edwina, Kate discovers the true nature of her intentions – a true romantic marriage is not a priority on her list – and decides to do everything in her power to end the union. Across Grosvenor Square, the Featheringtons are set to welcome the new heir to their estate as Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) continues to navigate the city while keeping her deepest secret from those closest to her. The series is inspired by the novels of Julia Quinn, set against the backdrop of Regency-era England.

New shows in HBO’s lineup in January

HBO GO, HBO, Cartoon Network, and Warner TV welcome 2022 with new movie and series premieres in January. Creators of Downton abbey comes the new original HBO series, Golden age, January 25 at 10 a.m. Other premieres include superhero stories in DC’s Naomi January 12, 9:50 p.m., and the action movie Mortal combat January 29, 9 p.m. For family cooking, there’s the new series Us baby bears on January 8, 10:30 am, the prehistoric antics of The Croods: A New Age January 1, 9 p.m. the iconic Yogi Bear in a new cartoon Jelly! January 22, 6 p.m. and Scooby Doo! Return to Zombie Island January 29, 1:30 p.m. There are also new seasons of The right gems, from January 10 at 11 a.m. and Superman and Lois starting January 12, 9 p.m.
