Mumbai, December 18 (PTI) Actors Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna will star alongside Sidharth Malhotra in the action film “Yodha”, the directors announced on Saturday.
Supported by Dharma Productions by Karan Johar and filmmaker Shashank Khaitan, the film will be directed by junior director duo Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre.

Dharma Productions shared the news of the female lead role of “Yodha” via social media.
“Our two female protagonists of #Yodha come to divert your hearts – welcoming Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna to the family!” the studio posted on Instagram.

“Yodha” marks the first collaboration between Dharma Productions and Patani and Khanna.
Malhotra has worked with the banner in the past on numerous films, including her debut “Student of the Year”, “Hasee Toh Phasee”, “Kapoor & Sons” and most recently “Shershaah”.
Patani and Khanna shared the news on their respective social media accounts and expressed their excitement about being a part of the action franchise.
“Super happy to join this action packed trip! I’m ready to take off guys, let’s go!” Patani, known for “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story”, “Baaghi 2”, “Radhe”, said.
Khanna, 31, said: “I am extremely honored and delighted to announce that I will be joining the #Yodha team.”
She made her acting debut with John Abraham-starrer “Madras Cafe” and since then has appeared in Telugu and Tamil films such as “Bengal Tiger”, “Supreme”, “Jai Lava Kusa”, “Venky Mama” and “Prati Roju Pandage”.
The actor will also be seen in Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s upcoming web series starring Shahid Kapoor and Ajay Devgn’s first digital show “Rudra – The Edge of Darkness”.
“Yodha” is scheduled for release on November 11 next year.
