IndiaJoy Digital Entertainment Festival, a forum for businesses, business leaders, content creators, professionals in the gaming, animation, digital media and entertainment industries, will be held virtually from 16-19 November.
The event, the fourth edition of the series, is organized by Telangana Virtual Animation and Gaming Association (TVAGA) with support from the state government. It is expected to bring together participants from 50 countries. Leading global AVGC and tech giants will share advancements in new and emerging technologies, organizers said in a statement on Thursday.
Industry and IT Minister KT Rama Rao said the last three editions of IndiaJoy have played an important role in boosting the AVGC industry in Asia. It has also helped shine the spotlight on Hyderabad as one of the important hubs of the global digital entertainment industry.
“Hyderabad has been the epicenter of growth in this sector and the Telangana government has played a key role in promoting the ecosystem. Now that we are at a crossroads of rapid growth, it involves a lot of strategic value to keep the momentum going by continuing to support such a mega event, ”said Jayesh Ranjan, IT and Industries Secretary.
