DEA Appoints Ryohei Nuka, Former Goldman Sachs Vice President of Finance, as New Chief Financial Officer

SINGAPORE, Aug. 03, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Singaporean blockchain gaming and entertainment company Digital Entertainment Asset Pte. (DEA), known for its leading GameFi platform PlayMining featuring famed original Japanese NFT creators and cryptocurrency token DEAPcoin (stock code “DEP”), today announced the appointment of Ryohei Nuka as as the new chief financial officer.

After spending the first 15 years of his life in Los Angeles, California, USA and graduating from Sophia University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering, Mr. Nuka worked for a major Japanese SIer company, then for the financial division of Dresdner Kleinwort Securities. , the securities division of Dresdner Bank, one of Germany’s leading banks at the time.

In 2009, he joined Goldman Sachs and was in charge of product control operations (management accounting and price verification) for the equity and derivatives trading room. Since 2018, he has led a product control team in Japan and India, responsible for valuation, due diligence and reporting to the FRB and the SEC for proprietary investments (private equity, commercial real estate and project financing) in the Merchant Banking division.

He started his career as a consultant at Nippon Steel Solutions, working on system development projects for Asian financial institutions.
