Hollywood “IT” couple Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa are no more. The duo announced their split on January 12, just days before Momoa wrapped production on Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The couple shared a touching statement about their split on their social media.

Josh Duhamel is engaged. The former All My Children actor has proposed to former Miss World America Audra Mari. The actor shared the news on social media along with a photo of his cute proposal.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are also engaged. The rocker got down on one knee and presented Megan with a stunning rock. The pair then sealed the deal by drinking each other’s blood.

Lauren Silverman wears Simon Cowell’s ring. The longtime couple have been dating since 2004 and are finally ready to close the deal, so to speak.

Gold Star Achievements

The late civil rights activist Maya Angelou receives another major honor. She is the first black woman to appear on the American Quarter. The newly minted coin enters circulation. The US Mint will honor nineteen other trailblazing women during this series.

Former child star, Hayley Mills was honored with the Oscars which replaced her stolen Oscar. Hayley won the coveted trophy in 1960, but it was then stolen from her home in 1980. Now she has a new one ready to shine on her shelf. Mills won the award for her performance in the 1960 film Pollyanna.

Crime and Punishment

Prince Andrew is no longer “His Royal Highness” and has also been forced to give up his military titles, uniform and patronages. The Queen is throwing her son to the wolves as he faces charges stemming from his alleged involvement in the ‘Pedophile Island’ scandal. Andrew could face extradition to the United States to face additional charges after processing his case in Britain.

Entertainment News: Illness and Injury

Ana Navarro of The View is taking a break from the show after testing positive for Covid. The co-host is at home in quarantine and said she was fine. The deadline has the details.

Lisa Vanderpump is also one of the latest celebrities to fall victim to Covid. The former Real Housewife of Beverly Hills took to social media to announce her diagnosis. So far, Vanderpump hasn’t told fans the extent of her symptoms.

Celebrity Scandals

Lana Del Rey deals with a stalker. The singer filed and obtained a temporary restraining order against the alleged Janeen Lee Stratton. Del Rey claims that the woman is harassing not only the artist but also his team. TMZ has the whole story.

Kanye West was in hot water this week. The megastar was named a suspect in a battery case on January 13. Reportedly, Kanye was involved in an altercation that turned physical and he pushed a male fan.

Jamie Lynn Spears has become a hot topic during interviews promoting her new book. She was under fire from fans after several TV spots where she explained her role (or lack thereof) in her sister’s guardianship and her path to freedom. Not only that, but she was called a liar and a bully by her former Zoe 101 co-star Alexa Nikolas.

R&B star Brandy Norwood has been charged with theft after a designer ring borrowed by her team went missing. Brady’s stylist worked with Elle B. Mambetov to source the piece, which cost $45,000. The problem arose when the ring was never returned. Brandy denies any involvement and claims she never even saw the ring.

Nicki Minaj is off the hook for harassment but the drama is not over for the rapper. While his team plans to sue his accuser for legal fees, they may have to wait. Nicki’s husband is still named in the case and must confront the woman he was convicted of raping for in 1995.

Good news Grey’s Anatomy Fans! The show is returning for season 19. The announcement was made on January 10. It is not yet known whether or not there will be a season 20.

Apple TV’s Morning Show is also renewed. The drama, which stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, will return for season three this year. The second season began airing on November 19.

Voice fans will still be able to see their favorite reality show, but less so. Deadline Confirmed The Voice will remain on air but will switch to a once-a-year cycle.

The Real World Homecoming is down from a famous face. David Edwards walked away from the fan-favorite reality show during the final days of taping. He won’t be there for the season finale.

Canadian teen drama, Degrassi has found a new home. The next episode of the series will air on HBO Max. Next Generation is set to air in the spring.

Entertainment News: In Memoriam

An entire generation lost its TV father this week with the death of Bob Saget. The famous comedian died in his sleep on January 9 at the age of 65. Bob stole hearts playing Danny Tanner in Full House, a role quite opposite to his current humor.

Dwayne Hickman died at age 87 on January 9. The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis star died surrounded by his family after a battle with Parkinson’s disease.

The Tonight Show lost another legend this week. Former director and brother of Johnny Carson, Dick Carson, has died. He died on January 9 at age 92.

Sinead O’Connor is in mourning after the loss of her teenage son. Shane O’Connor was under suicide watch in an Irish hospital but managed to escape and end his life. The singer blames the hospital for her loss and hints that she plans to take it out on the institution. Sinead is now in hospital herself after a series of suicidal tweets.

NBC Universal has lost one of its members. Todd Whiting, long-term head of digital content, died on January 4 of cardiac arrest following a battle with Covid and pneumonia.

The Ronettes’ lead singer, Ronnie Spector, lost his battle with cancer on January 12. The Ronettes rose to fame in the 1950s and 1960s and are well known for the songs Be My Baby and Chapel of Love. Ronnie was 78 years old.

The Bachelorette franchise is in mourning after the loss of Clint Arlis. The season 11 star died on January 11 at age 34. His death was confirmed Friday by his sister. At the time of publication, no cause of death is known.
